Join the 7K CrossFit team for Sunday's Sprint Race and get a free team shirt.

If you are saying to yourself "No way man! I will just slow down the team and I don't know about those weird, crazy obstacles."
We respond with, "No! The team strategy is that we all go together and help each other with a fun vibe. We are NOT racing, but having fun with this unique experience in our backyard."

In order to get them printed to wear for the race, put on your shirt size on a clipboard by the whiteboard no later than Tuesday, the 5th. Otherwise you will not have one of these cool shirts to wear during the race 🙁

So let’s get ready for battle!

This mornings class was a tribute wod to 9/11. We honored those who’s lives were changed forever, those we lost, and those that made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸 #neverforget

With the generous help of over 50 people’s donat

With the generous help of over 50 people’s donations and the matching commitment from 7K CrossFit and Agustin from SoCal Vacations, we raised $5,682 for Run 2 Rescue.

Based in Southern California, Run 2 Rescue’s mission is to Reach in the darkness, Rescue victims out of bondage and Restore them to a full and abundant life. They operate 2 homes for victims and have worked with over 250 girls.

Our hearts were touched with what this organization has been doing for over 9 years - rescuing and restoring these girls from sex trafficking. We felt called to help. So we did.

This IS our 7K CrossFit Community here in Big Bear!

Thank you to all our members who came to support this great cause to help us raise awareness and funds for Run 2 Rescue.

Join us on Labor Day at 9AM for a fundraiser CrossFit workout benefiting Run 2 Rescue non-profit organization.

The workout will be non-technical, allowing for a fun and appropriate workout stimulus for anyone that would like to come out to support the cause and get some exercise for the day.

Donation of $20 or more is appreciated.
7K will match what you give.

(The Saturday WOD at 8am in the box is still on!)

What you need:
• Team of 3
• Bike and Kayak/SUP
• Side Dish for Potluck
• BYOB
• Chair to Sit

Each team provides a bike and kayak. Kayaks are available to rent from Paddles and Pedals. Only one team member is out at a time while the rest of the team cheers and waits at the hub. We will have lunch after (burgers and dogs). BYOB and a side to share and your own chair.

Anybody can come play. Bring your friends!

CrossFit’s description of “health” is your work capacity across broad time, modal, and age domains. Even simpler, it is your fitness measured across your lifetime.

As Seminar Staff Flowmaster Chuck Carswell (CF-L4) explains, quality of life and longevity will be determined by maximizing the area under the curve early in life and then sustaining it throughout your lifetime. Doing so provides a buffer from decrepitude.

With this in mind, the traditional notion of “health” as “the “absence of disease” is not a sufficient definition because it does not speak to longevity or the quality of your life.
