Sheri was born and raised in Southern California. She and her husband moved to Big Bear in 2011. She is a Registered Nurse and has a passion for helping others. She played team sports such as volleyball, tennis and softball in high school and college. As an adult she developed a love for adventure and the outdoors. She enjoys trail running, road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, tennis, skiing, snowshoeing, Spartan racing, Ragnar races and CrossFit competitions. She is on the board of the Big Bear Cycling Association and leads a weekly community mountain bike ride throughout the riding season. In her past, she has taught Yoga, Pilates and coached volleyball.
Sheri was introduced to CrossFit in 2012. The variety and complexity of the workouts challenged her, and she achieved things she thought unimaginable. She found that CrossFit improved her performance in other activities and gave her the strength and confidence to conquer new challenges. In 2019, she obtained her CrossFit Level 1 certificate and is excited to train other athletes.
Sheri’s goal is to motivate and encourage others. She loves watching people accomplish things they never thought they could do. She is proud to be a part of the CrossFit community and the 7K CrossFit team.
